Deposit Requirements
No deposit is required when you're going through InstalPay. So if you are an InstalPay customer no need to read further.
Alternatively, a $2,000 deposit is required to place your order if it's a cash sale. The only exception is if your system costs are fully covered by an approved government rebate.
What Happens After You Place Your Order?
Once your order is placed, Wattle Powr will:
- Order your system hardware.
- Schedule your Certified Installer and secure the installation day.
- Begin the permission to connect process with your distribution network.
Your deposit covers these initial costs. After your system is installed, the deposit will be deducted from your final balance. The same credit/debit card used for your deposit will be charged for the remaining balance the day after installation.
Rebates and Refunds
If you’ve successfully applied for state government rebates or loans, such as Solar Victoria, the rebate will be deducted from your quote before you reach the payment page. If this results in no out-of-pocket cost, we’ll refund your deposit after installation is complete.
Cancellations and Rescheduling
- Cancellation: If you decide to cancel your order, we may refund your deposit minus any costs incurred in preparing your order.
- Rescheduling: If you need to reschedule your installation, your deposit will be carried forward to the new installation date.
